Rajasthan Lok Seva Aayog or RPSC is going to organise the Rajasthan Administrative and Subordinate Service Combined Competitive Pre Exam-2012 on 14 June, 2012. 

The Admission Cards for the exam are available from 5 june evening. 

Token Number, Application ID, Date of Birth and/or Phone number will be required to download the admit cards. 

At exam centre any of the Photo Identitiy Card/ document  will be required other than the admit card. Candidates are advised   not to forget it.

RPSC (राजस्थान लोक सेवा आयोग, अजमेर) invites ONLINE APPLICATION  for the following sarkari naukri vacancies :-

• Rajsthan State Services (RAS, RPS, R.Acs.S. RDS, RWDS, RCS, ACTO etc. )- 289 Posts.
• Rajasthan Subordinate Services (RTS, JCTO, EXICE INSPECTOR etc.) - 817 Posts.

Age Limit- 21-35 Years as on 01.01.2013.

Academic Qualification- Graduate or Equivalent.

Fees- Rs. 250 for Gen., Rs.150 for OBC, Rs. 50 for ST/SC.

Last Date- 10.03.2012.
Now Last Date Extedended till 20.03.2012

Preliminary examination is expected in April or May, 2012.
Update 17.03.2012 Now RAS Pre Exam Date may be 07.06.2012.

The Exam. will be conducted  according to Old pattern.

Examination Pattern-

1. Preliminary Examination- There will be two Objective  papers. 1. Gk 2. Optional paper. 15*Total number of vacancies = Qualified candidates for the main exam. Secured marks in pre exam will be not be added for final merit.

2. Main Exam- 15 times candidates of the vacancies will appear in main examination. There will be 8 descriptive papers for Total Maximum Marks- 1300. The papers are- 

1. Gk & Gen. Sc.-100 Marks

 2. Gk of Rajasthan- 100 Marks,

 3. Gen. Hindi- 200 Marks,

 4. Gen. English- 100 Marks, 

5. Optional Subject-1 Paper First- 200 Marks

6. Optional Subject-1 Paper Second- 200 Marks

7. Optional Subject-2 Paper First- 200 Marks

8. Optional Subject-2 Paper Second- 200 Marks

Secure marks will be added for final selection merit.

3. Interview- Three times candidates will be called for a personal Interview. Interview will carry 160 Marks.

 EXPERTS' ADVICE- In this old and traditional exam pattern Optional subject Plays a major Role in final selection. Therefore it is advised to opt the optional subject which are comfortable to candidates. Proper Guidance, Previous Study, Availability of Proper Study Material, Good tuning of candidate with subject are the main factors for selection of an optional subject for pre or main exam.
