Elementary Education department has issued orders regarding recruitment of Third Grade Teachers. These teachers will be recruited through the Recruitment cum Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET).

     REET 2015 will be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education of Rajasthan, Ajmer. BOSE or RBSE is the Permanent Nodal Agency for REET formerly known as RTET. The merit list is exptected to be prepared based on the marks obtained in the REET only. The candidates who have applied for RTET 2013 will be considered for REET 2015. The new applications will also be invited for both levels.
    The department also issued orders for recruitment of PTI (Physical Training Instructor) or शारीरिक शिक्षक।  The vacancy for Third Grade teachers is 13000 and for PTI 1659 approx.
    Interested candidates are advised to start preparation for the exam.

examreet.rajasthan.gov.in may be the new and official website for REET 2014 and forthcoming years exams.
The Secondary Education Board, Rajasthan Ajmer starts the preparation to conduct the REET, 2014. 
The main features or important points or answer of frequently asked questions of the aspirants are here :-
1. REET will be single exam for Third Grade Teacher Recruitment.
2. Candidate who want to be a teacher in Rajasthan Govt as third grade teacher should be appear in this exam.
3. REET will be the exam for 1. Eligibility and 2. Recruitment.
4. Candidates who are already eligible as per RTET 2011 or RTET 2012 may apply only for Recruitment through the REET 2014 or further REET exam like REET 2015, REET 2016, REET 2017, REET 2018------and so on.
5. Certificate issued to candidates as per RTET, 2011 and RTET 2012 will be valid for REET because these certificates are valid for 7 years.
6. Candidates  who wish to improve their performance in eligibility may appear in REET for eligibility and recruitment both.
7. If any candidates who has certificates for RTET 2011. RTET 2012 and REET 2014, then his or her highest score may be considered to prepare merit.
8. Eligibility certificate issued on the basis of REET will also be valid for 7 years.
9. After the High court single and double bench decisions and case pending in Honourable Supreme Court of India, it seems that the eligibility criteria or cut off Percentage for all categories (for GEN, OBC, SBC, FEMALE, SC, ST, PH etc.) may be fixed 60 Percentage in REET. 
10. The aspirants may apply for REET 2014 for the following options -
     A. Eligibility - Level I or Level II or Both Level
     B. Recruitment - Level I or Level II or Both Level
11. Application fee may be fixed different  for level wise application.
12. BOSE or RBSE may take some initiatives for transparency and avoid court cases and delay in the process. BOSE may give the carbon copy of answer sheets to the examines, permit to carry exam paper at home, issue official answer key soon after the exam and invite objections, after disposal of all objection may declare result. This procedure may give the full satisfaction to the candidates. 
13.  The candidates who have already applied for RTET 2013 will need not to apply again for REET 2014.
14.  New candidates will be invited to apply for REET 2014. The Official website may be examreet.rajasthan.gov.in.
15. After withdrawal SPL from supreme court, the application may invited within 2 or 3 months.
16. The syllabus may be most probably the same as RTET.

UPDATE 25.07.14
Rajasthan Board of secondary Education (RBSE/ BOSE), Ajmer will conduct the REET 2014 and forthcoming   in next years. On 24.07.14 a high level meeting was held in secretariat between education board officials and School Education Secretary.
In this meeting the school education department asked Education Board to start the preparations to Conduct the newly introduced Recruitment cum Eligibility Test (REET-2014). This exam will replace the RTET exam. Now the  REET will be single exam for third grade teachers recruitment and eligibility test as per norms of NCTE.

       
At present the teachers recruitment process is in a fix, after the High Court decision. The govt want to remove all speed barkers and  obstacles regarding teachers recruitment. So the govt intends to withdraw the SPL submitted by the state govt in Supreme Court.

In the new process certificates issued to the candidates according the RTET 2011 and RTET 2012 will be valid for the forthcoming vacancy of teachers. These certificates will be valid for 7 years since the date of issuance. The candidates who want to apply for III grade teacher post and do not want to appear in REET, they may apply for teacher post in REET exam. While preparing the merit list of selected candidates, the marks obtained in their previous RTET exams will be counted and Academic exams obtained marks (secondary, sr. secondary etc marks in fixed ratio as per formula) will be added.
