Online Applications for the 1000 Posts of Constable General/ Driver. The detail of District wise posts is as follows :-
- Constable General Duty- 9938 Posts (GEN-5127, OBC-1923, SBC-100, SC-1490, ST-1102, SAHARIA-196)
- Constable Driver- 62 Posts (GEN-24, OBC-05, SBC-0, SC-15, ST-07, SAHARIA-11)
Dates for Online Application- 08.10.12 to 06.11.12.
Pay Scale- Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay- Rs. 1900
Qualification-
District Police- Secondary (Class-10)
RAC Battalion- Class-08
Age Limit- 18-23 Years for General as on 01.01.2013 (Birth Date Must be between 02.01.1990 to 01.01.95).
Physical Parameters- For General Area
Height- Male-168 CM, Female-152 CM
Chest- Male-81 CM (Min. Expansion-05 CM), Female- Not fixed.
Selection Procedure- Written Exam + Physical Efficiency Exam

The Police Head Quarter (PHQ) will start the Recruitment process of B. This time the all process will be Online. Application form and permission (Admit Cards) will be online. The district wise recruitment process will be completed within Six months.
The Marks distribution will be as :-
Total/Maximum Marks- 100
Written Exam - 75 Marks
Race- 15 Marks
Additional Certificate- 10 Marks
If the candidate secures lower marks in written exam but runs fast than he/she may stands in merit because the marks in running will be awarded according the speed of running.
Chest expansion of 5 cm will be necessary for all candidates.

Honourable Chief Minister has approved the recruitment of
12000 police constables.
Now
Online application will be invited for the exam.
The recruitment will be done according the
new norms of physical efficiency test. Now the
marks will be given
according the speed of running.
The candidates are advised to prepare for maximum speed in running.
